Matala is a small seaside village located 71 km south of Heraklion. The beach along with the famous caves and the hospitality of the locals offer a unique atmosphere for all guests.

A unique three days festival on the sandy beach, which host popular Greek and international musicians with many parallel events, as performances, workshops, street painting and an open air bazaar. Thousand of visitors from all over the world come to Matala beach festival to revive the vibes of the “flower children”.

This year, Matala beach festival will take place on 17, 18 and 19 of June. It’s a festival ideal for all ages, and with free entry for everyone.
