The beaches of Triopetra are located 52 km south of Rethymnon. They consist of two beaches, a large and a small separated by a small peninsula.

Begining from the west we find the Large Triopetra, which is a major sand and clear water beach. Here are a few parts of organized beach with umbrellas, deck chairs and shower. In the eastern part we find the Small Triopetra which is less regulated and are in fact a small creek. Near the beaches you will find taverns and hotels.

The beach owes its name (three stones) in the geological formation that separates the two beaches, which ends in three imposing rocks that emerge from the sea. It is ideal for privacy and relaxation while here oparates a Yoga center where you can attend classes and participate in meditation evenings.
